Job Summary
Candlewood Suites Merrillville is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our hospitality team. Our guests stay for short and long periods, and your role is key in ensuring a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for every stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and refresh guest suites during and after stays
- Replace linens, towels, and guest supplies following hotel standards
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Perform deep cleaning of rooms on a scheduled basis (e.g., refrigerators, microwaves, carpets, and upholstery)
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests when encountered
- Support other janitorial or custodial tasks as needed to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Qualifications
