Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. We will train the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
Requirements
- Connecticut licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
