What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Wrecker Driver position at Candido's Towing and Repair?
Candido's Towing and Repair is looking for a Driver in our Somerset, KY location.
The Position:
The driver is responsible for transporting company equipment and supplies to and from customer sites. The driver will operate a company vehicle in a safe manner in accordance with company guidelines and laws. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a professional demeanor with customers and co-workers, will have good communication skills, be able to work as a team player, and be willing to learn new techniques.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with an appetite for learning.
- Previous experience operating a Heavy Wrecker is a plus.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation; must be able to drive for long periods of time.
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
