Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an Principal, Strategic Relationships. This is a unique opportunity to join our team to develop and execute cross-enterprise growth strategies between our network of distribution partners, broker/dealers, and financial professionals.
This is a hybrid role, candidates must be in located in El Segundo, CA or Dallas, TX or St Cloud, MN.
What you will do:
Support the primary liaisons managing Cetera Financial Group’s relationships with strategic distribution partners representing various product lines
Identify, recommend, and execute opportunities between all Cetera Financial Group business units, Broker Dealers, and strategic partners to drive sales and asset growth
Source and prepare analysis on industry and product trends that impact strategic partner opportunities and risks
Contribute to cross-enterprise initiatives to drive operational efficiencies for strategic partners
What you need to have:
Product knowledge and subject matter experience in core product offerings; keen understanding of product design and economics
At least 3 years of experience managing external distributor or vendor relationships
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services profession
Strong interpersonal, communications, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized and responsive
A growth-oriented, results-driven mindset
A collaborative approach that fosters enduring and effective relationships
Highly developed communication skills
A sharp attention to detail
What is nice to have:
Marketing savvy, including proven communication and presentation skills, campaign design, and digital content management
Data analytics proficiency; an aptitude for using quantifiable metrics to define opportunities and measure results
Project management acumen from ideation to execution; ability to manage numerous, multi-faceted business initiatives and stay highly focused, organized, and attention to detail
Distribution, sales, and/or product management experience
Compensation:
The base annual salary range for this role is $113,000 to $181,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
