This is a hybrid position for our San Diego office location.
What you will do:
- Receive inquiries from financial advisors and coordinate responses related to the advisory platforms, supported advisory programs, and/or advisory accounts by working with internal groups to expedite the resolution of issues and provide a positive advisory platform experience
- Train newer team members on MAA Operations Support procedures and activities. Maintain availability to other associates and serve as a knowledge base to them
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to determine efficient and effective resolution
- Track and monitor multiple ongoing projects
- Facilitate accurate communication and data transfer with financial advisors, internal team members, and external vendors
- Create and maintain technical manuals and training sessions
- Work with advisors in a consultative capacity to assist with the adoption and use of advisory platforms. Partner with other internal groups and/or advisory product sponsors to support their efforts to close business that would utilize the advisory platforms
- Contribute to idea generation and positioning that solidify the advisory platform value proposition, accentuate our absolute and competitive strengths, and keep the advisory platforms at the industry’s leading edge
- Participate in projects regarding advisory platform enhancements, new functionality, and system and process improvements
- Suggest policies and system controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all My Advice Architect initiatives
- Maintain a deep understanding of platform functionality and how trades flow from the platforms to the custodian and clearing firm for execution
- Intake and proactively work Advisory Trade Correction cases including researching the issue and partnering with Cetera’s external vendor to obtain trade analysis
- Keep an open line of communication with the platform vendors and respond to inquiries quickly and accurately
- Run reports multiple times daily to identify trade rejections and work with the proper internal and external parties for efficient and effective resolution
- Suggest policies and system enhancements that would reduce the number of trade errors requiring corrections
What you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years relevant experience in the financial services industry
What is nice to have:
- Previous exposure to client servicing and/or account management
- Knowledge of investment portfolio administration tools, systems, and processes
- Master’s degree or other relevant designations
- Knowledge of internal Cetera Financial Group systems
- License/Registration requirements: Series 7 and 66
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $50,000-$62,000 plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
