Group Details

Tradeweb is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Global Accounting team. The candidate will be a key member of a rapidly expanding accounting team, supporting the alignment of global accounting operations with increasing business activity and complexity driven by organic growth and M&A. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, monthly prepaids and expense analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, transformation, and ad hoc analysis.  The role will have the opportunity to expand the accounting experience into Tradeweb’s International accounting operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of global accounting information by recording, verifying accuracy for monthly financial close process.
• Collaborate with Global AP function to ensure accounting accuracy and appropriate month end accruals. 
• Lead the fixed assets accounting process, including capitalization, depreciation, and retirement, in compliance with Tradeweb’s accounting policies, U.S. GAAP, and internal control requirements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly global expenses and prepaids at vendor level.
• Verify and reconcile transactions and resolving discrepancies through global balance sheet reconciliation.
• Lead and prepare audit support documents for external auditors before due dates.
• Execute accounting controls in accordance with SOX guidelines, including documenting and maintaining of internal SOX controls.
• Be a key member of accounting transformation projects, including building Alteryx workflows and Tableau for process automation.
• Support and prepare data collection for quarterly disclosures.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and address business partners queries

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA designation/Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong people skills and effective communicator
• Self-starter and team player
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) 
• Strong knowledge of accounting and related systems (i.e. SAP/Oracle/Concur)
• Experience with analytics tools such as Alteryx and or Tableau preferred.

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $70,000 to $160,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
