Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic environments
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing techniques
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to achieve optimal results
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies with proper technique
• Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected according to health standards
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods
• Adhere to safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work, including outdoor maintenance if required

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and use of cleaning equipment and detergents
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Good communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Experience with outdoor work or floor care is a plus
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and outdoor maintenance is desirable
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift
