We are currently looking for a Chief Engineer. As a Chief Engineer you will advise and control the Engineering operations within the resort, which includes the daily supervision of mechanical, structural, electrical, and other-related maintenance systems.

Responsibilities Include:
- Conducts consistent walk-throughs of each resort tower to visually assess the physical structure(s) of the building.
- Resolves the level of safety, efficient maintenance, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
- Assigns routine maintenance tasks
- Ensure that the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
- Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies, and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply.
- Develops and maintains human resource management practices that are performed by direct reports which include recruitment, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with the HR Business Partner.
- Maintains firm understanding of the established Collective Bargaining Agreement as it relates to the supervision and performance of HHV-VO team members.
- Performs other related activities as required

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 5 Years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry
- 4 Years of managerial in the same or similar environment
- EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO certifications
- HVAC – Electrical – plumbing specific
- Experience in handling operations operating under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Flexible Schedule
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
- CPR/First Aid
