POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Cherry Picker/Receiver plays a critical role in day-to-day warehouse and operations activities, with cherry picking as the primary responsibility. This position ensures all projects and tasks are performed to company standards, working closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager to support the efficient flow of materials, safe delivery, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cherry picking as the core function of this role, accurately selecting and compiling customer orders.

3 years of experience operating cherry picker (order picker) equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Demonstrated ability to pick items from high‑level shelving using elevated lift equipment.
- Lead by example and ensure all work aligns with company standards.
- Collaborate daily with the Tile Warehouse Manager.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks promptly.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations.
- Communicate any discovered or suspected material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
- Wrap and band pallets for safe delivery.
- Assist with customer pickups, ensuring materials are safely loaded into residential vehicles.
- Work with coworkers to move large or awkward boxes and pieces.
- Participate in the container receipt process, including physical unloading and system inputs.
- Support the operations team on projects that improve and advance overall operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Availability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, and Saturdays as needed.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (50–75 lbs) regularly.
- At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and reach machines.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Turret Truck experience preferred.
- Cherry Picking experience required. (2 years)
