Reports to: Executive Director
Overall Function:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director (PD) implements and manages all participant-related programs and services, including all therapeutic contact between the staff and participants. The PD conducts or assigns the participant intake function, supervises all paid and volunteer program staff, ensures that CSCGLV programs (therapeutic methodology, policies, procedures, and guidelines) are carried out professionally, and informs the professional and patient communities of the benefits of CSCGLV services.

Responsibilities:
Program Administration
- Develops, administers, and reviews the Programs and Services to ensure ongoing evaluation of quality and guidelines as defined in the CSC Program Manual.
- Oversee the development, scheduling, and organization of new programs and services.
- Oversee the recruitment of all service and program providers and ensure CSC guidelines are followed.
- Coordinate all monthly program calendar information.
- Establish and maintain administrative procedures for support groups, orientation meetings, education workshops, healthy lifestyle classes, social events, and other programs.
- Coordinate the clinical staff coverage for all programs and services.
- Conduct internal and external evaluations to determine program effectiveness.
- Conduct biweekly supervisory meetings with clinical program staff and facilitators.
- Oversee the expansion of existing programs and establish new programs.
- Implement and oversee virtual programming.
- Interact with Program Directors from the affiliate network on a regional and network-wide level.
- Respond to program questions, problems, and opportunities daily from staff, phone inquiries, outside agencies, etc.
- Support fundraising/development by identifying needs, developing program ideas, and outreach strategies.
- Support and, as requested, represent the program during fundraising, public relations, and social activities on behalf of CSCGLV.
- Coordinate all activities related to health care providers. This includes developing an organized plan for regular contact to increase awareness of CSCGLV programs among these providers.
- Develop relationships and opportunities for partnering with other service providers.
- Oversee the collection of statistical data and prepare quarterly reports for CSC-HQ.
- Attend Board meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Licensed MFT, LCSW, LPC, or Clinical Psychologist in the state of PA.
Experience: An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong clinical skills, including group therapy experience and ability to work with issues surrounding chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
- Has a passion for the mission of CSCGLV.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
- Ability to work in a varied and flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.

Other Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and daily access to a personal vehicle.
- Clearances required: PA Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint.
- Required to stand, sit, and demonstrate manual dexterity regularly. Occasionally, lifting moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) may be required during the workday.
