Cancer Partners of Nebraska is excited to expand our team at our brand-new, cutting-edge location at the Kearney Cancer Center. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- to support our oncology team in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

What You'll Do
Clinical Support
- Accompany patients to exam/procedure rooms and assist with mobility or prep as needed
- Record vitals, patient history, and assist with specimen collection and screenings
- Support physicians and nurses during bone marrow biopsies and other sterile procedures
- Relay provider instructions clearly to patients and families
Administrative & Workflow
- Prepare necessary medical records for appointments
- Call in prescriptions and complete relevant forms or lab requisitions
- Maintain a clean, fully stocked exam area, following infection control procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- High school diploma
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
- Current Nebraska certification
Also Required
- Current CPR certification
- Prefer at least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and patient assistance
- Ability to view computer screens and perform fine motor tasks
- Occasional exposure to body fluids, medications, and infectious materials
