Senior Analyst, NetSuite Optimization (On-Site)

Job SummaryThe Senior Analyst, NetSuite Optimization position requires a strong background in Business, Finance or Accounting to help optimize how our organization uses NetSuite. This is a business-facing role, not an IT or technical position and it reports to the Director of Operational Excellence and Process Improvement. The successful candidate will work directly with end users to identify process improvement opportunities, increase adoption of NetSuite features, and ensure effective use of dashboards, reporting tools, and standard workflows. This role requires close collaboration with the internal IT team by clearly communicating business requirements and enhancement requests.Essential FunctionsPartner with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to identify inefficiencies in current NetSuite usage and propose process improvements.Facilitate discovery sessions with business users to gather needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.Design and enhance SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, saved searches, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision-making and transparency.Increase user adoption by promoting better use of existing NetSuite features (e.g., workflows, reporting, reminders, navigation tips).Act as a liaison between business users and the internal IT team, translating business requirements into clear, actionable requests for system configuration, scripting, or integration support.Assist in documenting new processes, training users, and creating self-service guides and SOPs.Track new NetSuite releases and recommend relevant features for adoption by business teams.Keep record of active saved searches, reports and financial statements, and ensure that any changes to the system reflect accurately on them.Collaborate with IT to support issue resolution, role management, and testing of system enhancements—without directly performing technical tasks.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or other related fieldNetSuite certification (e.g., SuiteFoundation, Financial User, Administrator) preferred.3 years of hands-on experience using or supporting NetSuite in a finance/accounting context. Strong understanding of accounting workflows, including GL, AP, AR, month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting.Proven ability to improve business processes and increase efficiency using NetSuite tools and features.Excellent communication skills and comfort working with both business users and technical teams.Experience gathering requirements and preparing documentation for system improvements or change requests. Preferred Standards:Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, KPIs, dashboards, and workflow automation (non-technical use).Knowledge of modules such as Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), Multi-Book, or Fixed Assets.Prior experience working in a cross-functional role involving Finance and IT collaboration.Comfortable facilitating and leading training sessions and producing end-user documentation.Experience in a growing organization or ERP optimization project is a plus.Licenses / Certification Required:Valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within 30 days.Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) Physical Requirement:Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light workMay involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (20-30 lbs.)
