Canastota Dairy Products LLC is looking for a motivated and dependable Bulk Receiving/Process Operator to join our team in Canastota, NY. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload bulk dairy product deliveries, verifying quantities and quality upon arrival
- Operate and monitor processing equipment in accordance with production schedules and safety standards
- Perform routine quality checks and document findings to ensure product integrity and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of incoming bulk materials, processing data, and inventory logs
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety protocols throughout all operations
- Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures and routine sanitation of equipment and work areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dairy, food processing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with bulk receiving, processing equipment operation, or production line work
- Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods in a production setting
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and documentation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including weekends as needed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
