Key Responsibilities
· Lead multiple complex projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technical, infrastructure, security, QA, and vendor resources.
· Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder discussions, executive status reviews, and steering committee meetings.
· Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
· Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.
· Monitor project performance using established project management methodologies and governance standards.
· Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, presentations, and documentation.
· Manage project scope, change requests, and project documentation.
· Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, production deployment, and transition activities.
· Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and business partners to ensure successful project execution.
· Support process improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for project delivery.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
· 8 years of Project Management experience leading enterprise-level IT or business projects.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
· Experience managing projects within State agencies, public sector organizations, or healthcare environments preferred.
· Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies.
· Experience managing project schedules, budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and resource allocation.
· Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience preparing executive-level reports and project documentation.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Department of Public Health (DPH), Health & Human Services (HHS), DHCS, HCAI, or other State agencies.
· Experience managing healthcare, public health, Medicaid, eligibility, or health information technology projects.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
· Scrum Master or Agile certification is a plus.
· Experience with vendor management and contract coordination.
