Position OverviewThe Assistant for the HR & Compliance Department will support day-to-day HR administration and assist with regulatory & BSA/AML/OFAC compliance activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. The position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, control-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources SupportAssist with onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of personnel files.Coordinate mandatory training assignments and maintain training completion records.Support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.Assist with HR audits, documentation requests, and internal reporting.Prepare HR correspondence, notices, and compliance-related communications.Compliance SupportHelp track regulatory and policy-related updates and ensure timely dissemination.Maintain and update compliance registers, logs, and documentation (e.g., KYE, training logs, policy acknowledgments).Assist with periodic compliance reviews, certifications, and internal control testing.Support preparation of audit materials, regulatory submissions, and management reports.Monitor outstanding compliance tasks and follow up with relevant departments for closure.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree.1–3 years of experience in HR, Compliance, or administrative support (banking/financial services preferred).Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict timelines.
