PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Join CPKC as a Treasury Analyst and be at the heart of our financial strategy! In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our high-performing Finance Team to drive key treasury initiatives that fuel CPKC's growth. From optimizing liquidity and streamlining banking and payment operations to supporting corporate finance and capital markets projects, you'll be instrumental in shaping the financial future of our organization. This position is based in Kansas City, Missouri.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Execute day to day cash management activities including cash forecasting and payments in the US and Mexico
- Execute FX trades to support liquidity needs
- Monitor and maintain third party debt and borrowing facilities
- Support corporate finance and capital allocation decisions including dividends distributions
- Build, develop and maintain financial models in excel
- Drive process improvements to control costs, optimize assets, and reduce risk
- Ensure team compliance with SOX controls
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field
- 1-3 years of work experience with corporate finance, accounting, or cash management
- Experience with Financial modelling is an asset
- One or more of the following certifications is an asset: CFA, CA, CTP, CMA
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial safety
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required

Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
