Pay rate: Up to $70k/y bonus
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Direct hire position
Day shift and night shift available.
6 days a week
About the Role:
We are seeking several Material Supervisors to join our client's growing team in Greenwood, IN This position plays a key role in leading material handling operations and supporting production and repack activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands both materials flow and production processes, ensuring smooth, efficient, and on-time operations throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop a team of material technicians supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations.
- Coordinate daily activities with Operations and Materials teams to ensure on-time shipments and material availability.
- Support repack organization and production flow by understanding material and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor staffing levels to meet production demands while managing labor costs and overtime.
- Oversee truck driver scheduling, shipping documentation, and customer delivery windows.
- Lead and assist in projects related to inventory control, layout optimization, and cost reduction.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in materials, logistics, or warehouse operations (manufacturing or automotive experience preferred).
- Working knowledge of production processes and repack operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
