About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to provide operational and financial leadership at our plant and sales office. This role ensures compliance with financial standards, policies, and procedures while driving business performance through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and sound financial control. The ideal candidate will serve as a key business partner, providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop and support financial and operational strategies aligned with Group objectives.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial perspectives to guide investment, production, and cost-related decisions.
Financial & Cost Accounting
- Oversee all site accounting activities in accordance with Group and local standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
- Maintain cost accounting systems to support pricing, costing, and margin analysis.
Business Performance & Analysis
- Analyze plant performance to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Partner with operations and management teams to enhance cost efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital in alignment with Group policies.
- Ensure compliance with DSO/DPO targets and internal financial controls.
Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver accurate financial reports in compliance with Group and statutory requirements.
- Ensure full adherence to tax, audit, and regulatory obligations.
Process & Systems Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Promote standardization and automation across sites for greater efficiency.
People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve excellence and engagement.
- Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional and cross-site teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant financial experience, including managerial responsibility within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven ability to lead local finance operations and influence cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in financial reporting, cost control, and performance analysis.
- Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools, required SAP experience
- Must be open to travel to Franklin, TN as needed
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
