We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Safety Coordinator for a growing manufacturing facility in Lafayette, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and excellent growth potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience promoting workplace safety, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting training, and maintaining a safe work environment within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions
- Develop and conduct employee safety training programs
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and records
- Coordinate safety meetings and communicate safety initiatives
- Monitor PPE compliance and workplace safety procedures
- Work closely with management to improve safety performance and reduce risks
Qualifications
- Previous Safety Coordinator or EHS experience in manufacturing required
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience conducting safety training and investigations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
