What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Canadian Executive Search Group Inc.?
Wage Rate Range: $40–$46/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Screen incoming work orders, identify scope, and determine required planning.
Coordinate maintenance activities with departments to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance.
Procure equipment, tools, and parts to support maintenance operations.
Communicate with contractors regarding outsourced work and performance expectations.
Work with vendors to source replacement components and new technology to improve productivity.
Ensure reliability of facility systems and equipment through PM programs, testing, repairs, and replacements.
Support quality, production, safety, and DOS programs.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, timekeeping, and maintenance activities.
Ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
Comply with local and federal codes/regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing OR 5 years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering.
Journeyman-level technical experience.
Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement, predictive/preventive maintenance, and MTTF/MTBF reduction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Willingness to travel for training and workshops.
Excellent attendance record.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban.
Proven ability to lead projects effectively.
