What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Canaan Valley Resort?
Greets and seats guests , manages reservations and wait lists, answers phones and handles customer inquiries.
Responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, coordinating with kitchen and wait staff and ensuring a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
Must have excellent customer service, communication, organization and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Keep the waiting area clean and organized and process takeout orders.
Professionally handle complaints and thank departing guests for their visit.
a collaborative attitude is needed to work effectively with servers, cooks and management.
Previous customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
Must work days, evenings, some weekends and holidays.
