What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Cooridinator position at Canaan Valley Resort State Park?
Responsible for developing a marketing strategy that will promote and publicize Canaan Valley Resort and the Blackwater Smokehouse and events.
Essential Functions: Plans, executes and supports daily marketing operations. Will assist marketing by organizing campaigns, scheduling content, analyzing consumer data, and coordinating events to help build brand awareness and drive sales.
One Or More Years Of Marketing Experience Preferred.
Reports to Director of Sales and Marketing
Streamline marketing projects and ensures cross-functional communication between sales, creative, and external vendors.
Campaign Support: Help design, launch and track digital, social media and email marketing campaigns.
Assist in creating basic and copy, social posts, newsletters and promotional print items.
Market Research: Gather consumer behavior data, track, competitor pricing and monitor industry trends.
Data & Reporting: Compile metrics from web analytics to build performance reports.
Event Coordination: Help plan trade shows, webinars, corporate meetings, and promotional presentations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing Business, communications or a related field.
Pay based on experience.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for copy-writing and cross-team coordination.
Project Management: Exceptional organization skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Familiarity with social media management dashboards, basic graphic design tools, Content Management Systems and analytics platforms.
