Key Responsibilities:
HVAC Installation & Execution
· Lead a team of installers in properly installing HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and air conditioning units.
· Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company quality standards.
· Perform system start-ups, testing, and quality assurance checks to verify proper operation and efficiency.
· Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments for optimal system performance.
Team Leadership & Training
· Supervise, mentor, and train installation team members to develop their technical skills and efficiency.
· Assign tasks and ensure team members follow safety protocols and best practices.
· Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellence in craftsmanship.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Customer Service & Communication
· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
· Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and warranty information.
· Address customer concerns or questions and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
· Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales & Business Growth Support
· Identify and recommend additional services, upgrades, or maintenance agreements to customers.

Safety & Compliance
· Follow OSHA and company safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Equipment, Vehicle, & Inventory Management
· Maintain an accurate inventory of installation materials, tools, and equipment.

· Report any missing or damaged tools/equipment to management.
· Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked at all times.
· Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any necessary repair or maintenance needs.
· Follow company vehicle policies regarding safe driving practices, gas usage, and equipment storage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Call Back Ratio: Not to exceed 5% – Maintain high-quality installations that minimize the need for return service calls.
· Upsell Conversion: Minimum of 10% – Identify and successfully recommend system upgrades, accessories, or service agreements to enhance customer experience.
· Quality Checks: Above 90% – Ensure all installations meet or exceed company and industry quality standards, verified through inspections and customer feedback.
· Job Run Over Time: Not to exceed 10% – Complete installations within estimated job timeframes, ensuring efficiency while maintaining quality (excluding unforeseen issues).
