Compensation: $107-$120K/yr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Please note this role is in-office 4 days a week from the Beaverton, Oregon location.
The Data Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business applications, data pipelines, and reporting solutions across the organization. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring reliable system integrations, scalable data models, and automated business processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and support business applications, automation solutions, and system integrations that improve operational efficiency and support business objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models to ensure accurate, reliable, and accessible information across multiple business systems.
- Create, enhance, and support reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Build and support Power Platform solutions, including applications, workflows, and data models, to automate processes and improve user productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, data, integration, and reporting issues using root cause analysis while maintaining system stability and performance.
- Support platform infrastructure, deployment processes, automation frameworks, and monitoring tools to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable technology operations.
- Maintain technical documentation, promote data governance and security best practices, and contribute to process standardization, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties and special projects assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, application development, systems integration, analytics, or other related technical disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting business applications, data platforms, reporting solutions, and process automation in a business environment is required.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with the ability to query, manage, and support business data environments.
- Experience developing and supporting business applications, automated workflows, system integrations, and process automation solutions.
- Experience using Python for automation, data processing, reporting, or application support activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and related business productivity tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application, system, integration, and data-related issues in a business environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, source control, deployment processes, and CI/CD practices.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrates strong knowledge of data platforms, business applications, system integrations, and technology solutions required to effectively design, support, and improve business systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Terraform Infrastructure Automation
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, DAX, Python, and data engineering technologies.
- Experience supporting ETL/ELT processes, data orchestration platforms, and enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, source control, cloud technologies, Kubern
