What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asst Dir of Residence Life Student Housing position at Campus Living Villages?
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in Waco.
As a student housing property located on the campus of Texas State Technical College, the role of Asst. Director of Residence Life (ADRL), is an entry-level opportunity to join a great company and develop your professional skills within our housing sector.
The position involves:
Assist in hiring, supervising, and evaluating resident assistant performance, as well as overseeing their day-today routines and training.
Provide direction, coordination and oversight of a robust residence life program including monthly program/event planning.
Conduct unit inspections and encourage student accountability for the Student Code of Conduct and Residence Life policies and procedures.
Offer guidance to residents regarding concerns and oversee roommate mediation.
Work to continue positive relationships with the University and seek out opportunities to be more involved in university operations through volunteering for committees and events.
Gain knowledge of property leases and community policies as well as TSTC Student Code of Conduct.
Work with General Manager/Asst. General Manager to handle emergency or problem situations to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Assist with overall leadership and direction of the Village in line with the business plan as needed.
Support village during move-in and move-out processes.
Requires some weekend work (during busy times)
