Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Property Maintenance Laborer to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping our resort in top condition by performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, including light plumbing, painting, drywall patching, and flooring repair.
- Assist with installation and upkeep of fixtures, appliances, and furnishings.
- Conduct routine grounds maintenance, including landscaping, trash removal, hot tub maintenance, and outdoor area upkeep.
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
- Support seasonal projects such as weatherproofing, snow removal, or outdoor amenity setup.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist management with property improvement projects as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management or guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, drywall repair, flooring repair, and general carpentry.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Flexible schedule; weekends and some evenings may be required.
- Pay based on experience.
