About Us
Camps R Us is the largest summer day camp operating across 9 campuses on Long Island. Our warehouse and home base is located in Farmingdale, NY. Our Warehouse Operations team (aka Special Operations) travels to all campuses throughout the summer.
Employment Period
Warehouse Season: Sunday, May 18, 2026 - Thursday, September 18, 2026
Campus Season: Monday, June 29, 2026 - Friday, August 21, 2026
Campus Operations hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Must have your own reliable vehicle.
Holiday Closures (unpaid):
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 26, 2026
- Independence Day Holiday: Thursday, July 3, 2026
- Labor Day: Monday, September 1, 2026
What We Are Looking For
Our three most important qualities in any candidate are reliability, trust, and communication. This is a summer camp operation, and understanding that environment is a big part of understanding why those expectations are so high.
All candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds, be comfortable on their feet, and be prepared to work in the elements during the summer months. Compensation is commensurate with experience and knowledge.
Our Hiring Process
All staff go through a background check. We may also run DMV checks.
We require 3 work experiance references from all candidates during our application process.

There are also required training dates to learn our equipment and to understand the camp environment, which is essential to the role.
Timing
We are looking to bring people on right away for pre-season warehouse work. We will also have post-season work running through September.
Bonus: We have a sister company, Monster Party Rentals, that handles inflatable party rentals, inflatable movie screens, concessions, and more. Our employees have the option to pick up side work through that company as well, which helps as a supplemental income.
