Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers at our camp facilities. As a Lifeguard, you will be the frontline guardian of water safety, actively monitoring swimming areas, enforcing rules, and responding promptly to emergencies. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on children’s lives in a fun-filled setting.
Duties
- Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure swimmer safety.
- Enforce all camp rules related to water activities, promoting a safe and respectful environment.
- Conduct regular safety checks of all aquatic equipment and facilities.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of swim activity, incidents, and safety inspections.
- Communicate clearly with campers, staff, and emergency responders during incidents or safety drills.
Qualifications
- Lifeguard Certification (preferably Red Cross)
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, staff, and emergency personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining focus on water safety.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
