What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission Engineer position at Campos EPC LLC?
We are looking for an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a Transmission Engineer at Campos EPC, your role is pivotal in the engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
- Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
- Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Provide field support during construction.
- Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.
- May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.
- Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
- Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions
- Responsible for processing Transmission Line encroachments
- Responsible for ROW Assurance/Routine Analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering from ABET accredited program
- 3-6 years of experience required within Transmission Engineering
- PLS CADD required
- FE or PE preferred
SALARY: 85-115K YEARLY BASED ON EXPERIENCE
