Come join a growing team! Campos EPC is looking for an Integrity Engineer II. This position will manage and provide engineering support to gas pipeline integrity activities. Typical activities are anticipated to include pipeline risk assessment, In-Line Inspection (ILI), Direct Assessment (ECDA/ICDA), and pipeline remediation.
Qualified individuals will have a strong technical foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven client management abilities. This individual is expected to build client trust. Work will be primarily in an office but will include short-term travel and fieldwork.
Typical Responsibilities – pipeline integrity engineering
- Identify pipeline integrity threats
- Identify High Consequence Areas (HCA) and Location Class
- Complete pipeline integrity risk assessment
- Select pipeline inspection and indirect survey techniques
- Assess pipeline damage and determine fitness for service
- Complete root cause analysis (RCA) of pipeline damage
- Review ILI and Direct Assessment Technical Reports
Typical Responsibilities – ILI and Direct Assessment project management
- Estimate and manage multiple project budgets and schedules up to $1MM
- Plan and coordinate field activities including permitting, traffic control, survey, and mechanical activities
- Write and review engineering technical reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics
- 4 years of experience in materials, corrosion, inspection and/or integrity engineering
- General knowledge of typical hydrocarbon pipeline design, materials, and construction
- Knowledge of CFR 192, ASME B31.8, ASME B318S, ASME B31G, NACE SP0502, NACE SP0206, API 1163, API 5L
- Knowledge of MFL ILI techniques, pigging practices; cleaning, tool launching & receiving
- Experience managing, planning, executing ILI projects
- Experience managing, planning, executing pipeline Direct Assessment projects
- Knowledge of indirect survey techniques; e.g. CIS, ACVG, DCVG, ACCA
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements associated with hydrocarbon facilities
- Demonstrated experience managing integrity projects, interacting with clients, and working with hydrocarbon facilities
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong desire to work independently with minimal guidance
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
- Acceptable driving record
Salary- $80K-$110K
