Join us for our Night Out in the Parks 2026 production! We will be taking this show to four locations in partnership with the Chicago Park District in an effort to make impactful theatre accessible. Tickets will be sold on a pay-what-you-can basis, and the show will perform at four different park locations (as listed below).
Multi-hyphenate artists encouraged to submit.

All submissions due by Saturday, September 12 @ 11:59pm. In-person callbacks will be held Saturday, September 19, location TBA.
Characters:
*A note on intimacy: The characters Tess and Louis participate in a non-consensual kiss.
*A note on gender/race: The characters in this piece are complex and do not fit neatly into boxes. Actors across the spectrum of race, gender, gender identity, sexuality, sexual orientation, creed/religion, age, and disability encouraged to submit.
TESS (femme, any age, any race) – New to the job.
NATALIA (femme, any age, any race) – Old hat at the job.
JACKSON (masc, any age, any race) – A client.
LOUIS (masc, any age, any race) – A potential ally.
CLIENTS 1-8 (masc, any age, any race) – A montage of men. Must be skilled in physicality and vocal distinction.
A VERY SOOTHING VOICE – Voiced by the actor playing Natalia.
*A note from the playwright: The men in this play are real. Do not turn them into caricatures.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsal: October 13-31, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, Saturday mornings/afternoons (varies based on location)
Tech: November 3-7, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, Saturday afternoon
Opening: November 11 @ 5pm
Run: November 11-21, Wednesday-Friday evenings, Saturday matinees (8 total performances)
