RV Technician

Capital RV is seeking a reliable, self motivated, multi-tasking handy person to work in our service department. An individual that likes challenging duties to keep work interesting. An individual looking to advance themselves with certification trainings. Basic knowledge in electrical 110 volt, 12 volt, carpentry work, general repair work and mechanical ETC. On job training will be provided.

Essential Job Functions

• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, interior carpentry, exteriors etc. to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform routine maintenance
• Test drive RV’s to diagnose to ensure that they are working properly
• Demonstrate use, function and features and how to perform basic maintenance of the RV
  
  

Qualifications

• This is a safety sensitive position

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• License & Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
• Experience:
• A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred
• Abilities:
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety manuals
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations
• Ability to tow RVs of various sizes as needed
• Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
