Campers Inn RV is looking for a Production Manager. This role is responsible for leading the service department team .

This is a safety sensitive positionLead daily Service Department Technician activitiesSupervises shop personnel providing support with technical installationsTrain employees on new products and safety procedures. Mentors new techniciansMonitor and review work schedules, technician productivity and labor control reportsTrack monthly departmental resultsAssures productivity standards are metProvides “cradle to grave” customer serviceMay answer phones and provide assistance to customers Maintain a safe work area for customers and coworkersPerform other miscellaneous duties as assigned May cross train to perform other duties Perform in the role of shop expert Ensure Quality Controls are in place and performs inspections to verify repairs are performed to company and factory standards. Conduct shop meeting to cover safety, new policies, and manufacturer subjectsAttend off site training to keep informed of the newest advances in the industry

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is requiredLicenses or certificationsValid Driver’s license and good driving record requiredSome supervisory experience is preferredRVIA/RVDA certification or Master certification preferredForklift experience/certification preferred, or ability to be certified within one year is requiredExperience:Education and/or experience in the RV industry commensurate is requiredAbilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to plan and prepare work schedules for optimum coverage Ability to communicate in a professional and tactful manner Ability to prioritize work assignments Ability to provide accurate and helpful information to customer Ability to analyze and write reports Ability to handle problems and facilitate successful outcomesWillingness to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management Basic math skillsComprehensive knowledge of product installation activitiesWorking knowledge of the activities, methods procedures and policies of a Service Department environmentAdvanced knowledge of products, installation schedules, products prices and current sale itemsKnowledge of MS OfficeAbility to use company system applications, including Motility Systems2K and other software as applicable Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicalsAbility to navigate other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and RVsAbility to move RVs of various sizes as neededAbility to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bendingAbility to stand for long periods of time. Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
