What You'll Do
As a Mobile RV Repair Technician, you'll travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of RVs, campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and motorhomes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair RV electrical systems (12V & 120V)
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Service water pumps, faucets, toilets, tanks, and water lines
- Perform roof inspections, leak detection, resealing, and roof repairs
- Repair and replace windows, doors, vents, seals, and exterior components
- Diagnose and repair roof A/C units, furnaces, and thermostats
- Service RV appliances including refrigerators, water heaters, microwaves, ovens, and cooktops
- Repair slide-out systems, leveling systems, stabilizer jacks, and landing gear
- Repair and install manual and electric awnings
- Perform preventative maintenance and annual inspections
- Complete accurate service documentation and work orders
- Communicate repair recommendations clearly with customers
- Maintain inventory, tools, and a clean company service vehicle
Qualifications
- 3 years of RV, camper, trailer, marine, automotive, or related repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Experience with RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- RVTI Certification
- NRVTA Certification
- ASE Certification
- Experience with generators, solar systems, lithium battery systems, or warranty repairs
- Mobile service experience
