Campbellsville University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
The open position will report to the Director of Athletic Training Services and have a focus with Men's Soccer and Softball. Practice and home event coverage is required. There will be travel responsibilities with both teams during their respective seasons. Travel may include nights and weekend travel with assigned teams. This is a 12-month position with flexible days/weeks off arranged with the Head Athletic Trainer.
Everyday duties include working with assigned teams in all aspects of Athletic Training, collaborating with the 7 other staff Athletic Trainers on prevention, rehabilitation, and evaluation skills, working with other department staff with emergency management training, practice and gameday coverage and maintaining the Athletic Training Room.
Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletic Training Services or the Head Athletic Trainer base on experience and developmental alignment.
There is strong overall focus on development of staff, which includes assisting the Director Athletic Training Services and the Head Athletic Trainer with policy creation and implementation, budget management, team physician and facility engagement, mentoring undergraduate students in internship programs, and serving on campus-wide committees.

Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
BOC Athletic Trainer or pending results will be considered
Licensed, or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer (LAT) with the State of Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure
Entry-level eligible
