What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Clerk position at Campbellsville Housing & Redevelopment Authority?
HOUSING CLERK
General Clerical office work required to assist Housing Management in administering the housing programs. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Answer phone and greet customers when required. Collect rent, process work orders for residents, process move-outs. Process housing applications, maintain waiting lists for all housing programs, contact applicants for available units, collect intake/verification information for housing programs, prepare lease documents for programs. Process excess utilities. Process late notices, gather necessary vacancy information for Director. Back up for front desk clerk when required.
Desirable qualifications
Training and/or experience: Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience), with at least 6 months office experience. Housing experience is a plus.
Skills: Must be detail oriented. Keyboarding/computer skills including Word and Excel, and the ability to learn Housing software (currently Tenmast/MRI). Must have excellent people skills, and be able to deal with the public in a cordial and courteous manner. Must be prompt.
Criminal background check and drug test required.
