3M Certified Specialist – Campbell Supply Co.

Overview:

Campbell Supply Co., a leading industrial, construction and safety supplies distributor with five locations in Iowa, seeks a qualified individual for a full-time 3M Certified Specialist position. The best candidate needs to be ambitious, hard-working with a drive to serve our customers by implementing product solutions to address detailed applications. This individual will work both independently, with a team of 3M product specialists and with Campbell Supply Co. outside and inside sales team members to maintain current business and prospect for new business.

Skills we seek:

· 3-5 years of outside sales and customer service experience is preferred

· Exhibit people skillswith a willingness to be part of the solution to help others

· Initiative-taker, who is organized to allow focus on multitasks and prioritization of work demands

· Familiarity with Industrial, Construction and Safety distribution industry and best practices is preferred

· Demonstrates the ability to study and learn new products, systems, production applications, and customer demands

Job Responsibilities/Expectations:

· A strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell and meet/exceed sales goals with 3M’s portfolio of products, including abrasives, tapes, films, adhesives, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and CRM programs is preferred

· Desire to earn salary plus commission and bonuses, based on performance

· Daily communication with co-workers to address customers’ sales and project inquiries

· Excellent attendance and reliability with a team player mentality

· Support coverage of assigned accounts within Iowa, eastern Nebraska, and southeast South Dakota. 12-15 overnight hotel stays estimated annually.

· Attend 4-day training classes at 3M’s headquarters in St. Paul, MN one or two times per year

· Valid driver’s license, ability to pass Campbell Supply Co. background check and ability to lift, slide and lower packages that may weigh up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
