Position Overview
The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be responsible for the firm’s day-to-day financial operations and key office management functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who values accuracy, confidentiality, and flexibility, and who enjoys supporting a mission-driven legal practice.
- Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible; hybrid work options available
- Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll processing
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Monthly and periodic financial reporting
- Budget tracking and financial record maintenance
Office Management
- Client invoicing and billing
- Vendor coordination and payments
- HR onboarding paperwork and administrative support
- Coordination with attorneys and staff on financial and operational matters
- Manage and maintain inventory and supplies
Software & Systems
- Required: QuickBooks experience
- Used by the Firm: Timeslips, Microsoft Office
- Training Provided: Document management systems
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of bookkeeping experience
- Law firm experience preferred, but not required
- 2- or 4-year degree in business, bookkeeping, or accounting preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team
