What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter/Maintenance position at Campbell Property Management?

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing light maintenance throughout our facility, inside and outside during its operating hours. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, common areas, and high-traffic spots;emptying trash and recycling; and performing basic tasks like mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and wiping windows. They also handle immediate cleaning needs such as spills and debris, and may assist with event setups and minor repairs, ensuring the property is presentable and safe for visitors and employees.
Core responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing all common areas like lobbies, restrooms, and hallways.
- Trash removal: Emptying trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.
- Maintenance: Performing light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs,painting, wiping down surfaces, spot-mopping spills, and pressure cleaning.
- Restocking: Replenishing supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other service areas.
- Safety: Addressing immediate hazards like spills, wet floors, and debris to prevent accidents.
- Interacting with visitors and tenants, answering questions, and providing assistance.
- Cleaning exterior areas like parking lots and sidewalks.
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance on fixtures or furniture.
- Assisting with setting up and breaking down events.
- Maintaining outdoor grounds by watering plants or weeding flower beds.
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby and other common areas
- Spot mop floors and place caution signs
- Vacuum rugs
- Sweep parking areas as needed
- Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces
- Dust fixtures, counter tops, and other surfaces
- Empty trash
- Replace light bulbs
- Service restrooms
- Perform small repairs as needed
Full-Time
