The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of all common areas within the property. This position ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and visitors while adhering to established safety standards and association policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, elevators, and amenity spaces.
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for meetings, events, and club functions.
- Clean and sanitize elevators, including floors, walls, mirrors, handrails, buttons, doors, and tracks.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces in common areas.
- Restock restroom supplies, including paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other necessary items.
- Perform spot cleaning and respond promptly to spills, stains, and other cleaning needs.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or repair needs to management in a timely manner.
- Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulations while performing assigned duties.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, seasonal tasks, and other duties as assigned.
Full-Time Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
