Position Summary

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling, packaging, inspecting, and reconditioning a variety of water system products. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Assembly & Production

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions and specifications.
• Position and fasten parts using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Operate assembly equipment, including arbor presses and other production machinery.
• Package finished products using bagging and packaging equipment.
• Rotate between workstations and product lines as production needs require.
• Maintain accurate production counts and work records.

Product Inspection & Rework

• Inspect returned products for condition and suitability for repair or reconditioning.
• Perform repairs and rework as needed.
• Prepare reconditioned products for inventory or customer return.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Practice safe work habits and proper equipment operation at all times.

Qualifications

Required

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.

Physical Requirements

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:

• Moving mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Manufacturing chemicals and production materials.
• Moderate noise levels.
• Production and assembly equipment.
