Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Removal Services Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, be able to follow directions when given, be able to listen to the families we serve and give extreme attention to their needs or requests, be kind and respectful to the family’s we serve, have a positive work attitude and be able to solve problems and make an accurate decision.

This is an on call from your place of residence position. When requested you will be required to respond from your place of residence to the funeral home to take possession of a company vehicle to further respond to the call for service.

Duties:

· On call with one other staff member.

· Be able to assist one other staff member in completing a removal from a place of residence or other location that would require a second person.

· Drive a company vehicle utilized and designed for completing removals.

· Respond when requested to a place of residence, hospitals, nursing homes or other locations that our services have been requested.

· Work with Hospital, Nursing Home, and Hospice staff who are serving families who have requested our services.

· Complete the removal of a family members loved one who have requested our services and accept them into our care at the funeral home.

Requirements:

· Dependable vehicle to be able to respond to the funeral home if you are called out from your place of residence.

· A working cellular telephone. This phone must be able to receive and make telephone calls as you will be contacted by our full-time Funeral Home staff to be notified of a call for service.

· Valid Operator’s License from the state of Missouri or another state.

· Have a clean driving record.

· Be able to lift heavy weight, climb stairs, stand on feet for periods at a time, walk long distances and other physical demanding task.

· Men to be clean shaven OR beard, mustache or goatee is acceptable but must be kept clean and trimmed.

· Men to have clean, well-trimmed hair.

· Women to have hair in pony tail, bun or some other form keeping their hair contained.

· Men to wear long sleeve dress shirt with a tie, dress slacks and dress shoes OR button up casual long sleeve shirt, dress slacks and dress shoes is acceptable.

· Women to wear a blouse, dress pants and dress shoes.

· Jeans, sweat pants, leggings, t-shirt, sweat shirt, hoodies, boots, sandals, tennis shoes or any other non-formal wear will not be accepted unless the call for service requires such (See below).

· Have old clothes such as an old t-shirt, polo shirt, jeans, old tennis shoes or boots due to the environment of the call for service requiring such attire. If such clothing attire is to be worn you will be notified at the time you are contacted via telephone by our full-time funeral home staff.

**Reside within 15 miles from Marshall, Missouri**

Pay:

$50.00 a night that you are scheduled on call. An hourly wage will be paid if you are called out in addition to the $50.00. The hourly wage will be discussed during the interview process.
