MUST be able to drive our trucks and haul trailers

Minimum 2 years of experience in Landscaping and/or Horticulture

Seasonal color/annual plantings.
-
Perform regular maintenance of trees, shrubs and flower beds, including watering, deadheading, weeding.

Apply herbicides and pesticide.

Spread aggregates, soil and mulch.
-
Plant/prune shrubs.
-
Trim and transplant as needed.
-
Installation of flower beds and general maintenance.
-
Keeping all plants cleaned, trimmed and staked if needed.

Removing any damaged or unsightly foliage.
-
Removing debris from planters and beds and maintaining planters in a neat and orderly manner.

Preventing damage to surrounding ground or concrete.
-
Keeping all plants free from disease and insects.
-
Maintaining top dressing for proper presentation.

Keeps management informed by maintaining daily work orders, and submitting daily activity reports.
- Maintain efficiency while upholding company standards of quality and safety.

A high school diploma or GED

Must have a clean driving record and valid Ohio driver’s license.

Knowledge of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.

Ability to operate power equipment such as blowers, trimmers, clippers.

Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to accurately complete job updates.

Strong communication skills to interact with customers and staff.

You must have excellent time management skills and reliable transportation.

Be able to identify plants, pests and diseases.

We are looking for Team Members who can drive our vehicles. This means a clean driving record, and experience hauling trailers. These are labor positions, but the spots we are looking to fill absolutely must be able to be added to our insurance and be able to drive when needed. Fertilization and/or Irrigation experience a big plus at this time. Snow Plowing experience is a major plus.
Salary : $19 - $24
