Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations across various projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, structural components, and specialized equipment. Duties

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques according to project specifications and technical drawings
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately execute welding tasks
• Fabricate and assemble piping systems, structural components, sprinkler systems, HVAC units, and pipeline assemblies using hand tools and power tools
• Read and utilize measurement tools such as calipers and schematics to ensure precise cuts, bends, and fittings
• Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, pipe fitting, soldering, and pipe installation activities adhering to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards
• Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations by following safety protocol adherence during all welding operations and construction activities
• Collaborate with team members on construction site projects involving rigging, pipefitting, fire sprinkler fitting, HVAC systems, plumbing, and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience in welding within manufacturing or construction environments with a focus on pipe welding and fabrication
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; experience with welding preferred
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately
• Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, pipe fitting, assembly techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools safely
• Familiarity with safety regulations including NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting and pipeline installation procedures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings using calipers or other measurement devices; basic math skills for measurements and calculations required
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to piping systems; experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities is highly desirable
• Skilled in rigging techniques for lifting heavy components; experience with HVAC systems or plumbing installation is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship throughout all tasks

Pay: $25.10 - $30.23 per hour
