Oversees the operations and activities of the Communications Center. Supervises, assigns, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for providing emergency dispatch services. Establishes and monitors work schedules. Performs complex technical operation of communications equipment. Monitors Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program and procedures. Coordinates dispatch support and communications with other agencies.
Pay Grade: 110Qualifications
- United States Citizen - High school diploma or equivalent - 4 years experience as an emergency communications tech - Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities - No felony convictions - Good moral character - Be free of any physical, emotional, or mental condition which might adversely affect the applicant’s performance as a communications technician.

Testing Process: - Typing test (45 Wpm) - CritiCall Test - Oral Board Interview - Background Investigation - Polygraph Examination - Medical Examination - Psychological Evaluation - Drug Screen
