Qualifications
- Graduate degree in School Psychology (REQUIRED)
- Valid Tennessee School Services License with an endorsement in the area of school psychology
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct
- Dependable transportation to various locations
- Alternatives to the above qualifications are subject to Tennessee licensure laws and Director of Schools Discretion
Responsibilities/Job Duties
- Reports to the Supervisor of Special Education
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations on students served through special education
- Hold conferences with parents to review the psychologist's assessment results prior to the IEP meeting
- Participate in IEP team meetings as needed to address assessment and evaluation issues
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents and principals to improve the educational environment for students
- Follow all state and federal laws and regulations and Campbell County Board of Education policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain satisfactory, and respectful working relationships within the school environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary : $50,250 - $75,132
