NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Perform duties of operation, care and cleaning to provide a clean, comfortable, safe, attractive environment to promote the mission of the Campbell County School District: "Teaching Effectively- Learning Successfully."
JOB FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Participates in daily work schedule of building cleaning and operation.
2. Provides assistance to building staff members on request.
3. Washes windows and frames as directed.
4. Cleans chalkboards and trays as directed.
5. Dust mop or damp mop resilient or tile floors daily.
6. Empties waste baskets as directed.
7. Dusts dispensers, counters, AV carts, etc., as directed.
8. Cleans furniture as directed.
9. Picks up trash.
10. Cleans lockers as required.
11. Puts tabs on desks as directed.
12. Vacuums carpets as directed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND MENTAL ABILITY: "
Must possess a 2.0 GPA or above.
Good attendance record required.
Disciplinary record will be reviewed for character reference.
Reading ability must be adequate to follow directions resulting in making effective work decisions.
Ability to work independently.
Must have lower body strength to be able to walk throughout the work shift.

Moderate exposure to weather extremes of minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit to positive 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Frequent exposure to various supplies and chemicals.
Some employees may be occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required.
