Job Summary
The HVAC Install Helper assists our lead installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installations, including equipment change-outs, new-construction ductwork, and mini-split systems. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement and training.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with installing HVAC systems, ductwork, line sets, and accessories
- Help load and unload equipment and materials
- Use basic hand and power tools safely (drills, snips, saws, etc.)
- Maintain clean job sites and company vehicles
- Follow instructions and company procedures for safe, quality installations
- Support the team with measurements, hanging air handlers, setting condensers, and sealing ductwork
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and builders
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead installer or management
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors (heat/cold)
- Willingness to learn the HVAC trade
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Experience with hand tools preferred
