What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Center Team position at Camp Winadu?
Our team of 7 nurses and 3 student nurses provide campers and staff with professional health care in the summer in a friendly, caring environment. Our Nurses have a private room in modern fully equipped Health Center. Nurses assist on-call doctor with examination of patients, organization and distribution of daily meds, triage and treating campers who come to the health center, communicate with parents on an as needed basis, accompany sick/injured campers or staff to the hospital or medical appointments (Berkshire Medical Center is 3 miles away). There is a full time doctor in residence. In addition, our Health Center team enjoys the camp facilities, activities and events, as well as all the summer in the Berkshires has to offer. We assist you in arranging for your Massachusetts license.
