Job Title: Summer Elementary Teacher – Camp Trilogy
Location: Camp Trilogy
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Part-Time Option: 2–3 days per week available
Pay: $24/hour
Position Overview
Camp Trilogy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Summer Elementary Teacher to lead a group of campers entering 3rd–5th grade. This role focuses on keeping students’ academic skills fresh over the summer through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Teachers design and implement fun curriculum that blends academics with projects, games, outdoor learning, and collaborative activities in a camp-style environment.
This position offers the opportunity to create a welcoming classroom community while enjoying a summer schedule that includes plenty of outdoor time, movement, and creative freedom. Teachers will have a curriculum budget to purchase supplies and materials to bring their ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging summer learning activities for students entering 3rd–5th grade
- Create hands-on lessons, projects, games, and activities that reinforce academic skills in a fun way
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for 22–24 students
- Provide behavior guidance and classroom management to support a safe and respectful group dynamic
- Incorporate outdoor activities and movement throughout the day
- Use a provided curriculum budget to plan and purchase classroom supplies and project materials
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and curiosity in students
- Communicate effectively with camp leadership and support staff
Qualifications
- Experience teaching elementary-aged students (3rd–5th grade preferred)
- Background in education (licensed teacher or education student preferred)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about hands-on learning
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Comfortable leading both indoor and outdoor activities
